The advantages of lost foam casting process:
1. Its design is flexible so it can provide the structure for the casting and a sufficient degree of freedom.
2. It is has no traditional foundry sand core that it doesn’t occur in conventional casting sand core size because of inaccurate or incorrect in the core wall thickness caused by uneven casting.
3. Cleaner Production: there is no chemical binder in moulding sand, polyfoam is totally safe in low temperature. It has little organic matter when being poured, additionally, the discharge time is short and place is centralized, which is easy to collection and processing.
4. Reduce the cost of investment and production: sand recovery system can be greatly simplified without the cost of chemical binders; mold has a long service life, which has less loss than the traditional casting mold.
