Wire Rope Casting Machine
I. General Description
6 tons wire rope casting machine without guiding rail is designed in accordance with Indian pouring casting platform and dummy platform. The casting line includes launder, windlass, lift platform, tipping frame, casting well boarding, electric control system, and the casting platform in size. The normal casting length is 5m, while the maximum is 9m. The normal casting weight is 6 tons, and the casting speed range is 50-800mm/min.
II. The Main Equipments Description
1. Drawing mechanism
The traction mechanism is consisted of tractor, wire idler pulley, dummy head plate bracket. The bracket is suspended vertically, by four Φ12mm wire ropes threading its reel, idler pulley, and crown block on head frame, which can go up and down vertically deep inside the foundry. The motor speed is adjustable due to the inverter control. A special anti-corrosion treatment is adopted, for its steelwork for water and the other important parts, to ensure more than eight years of normal life of the casting system.
2. Lifting Platform
Lifting platform is processed into a rectangle by welding the 14mm thickness steel plate and 20 # channel steel welded. The top of the platform with a semi-box structure is for dummy platform placing. There are two groups of pulleys on the central position of platform nearing the four idler pulleys, which achieves lifting movement by wire rope. Four oriented devices are fixed at the four corners of the platform, to ensure the perpendicularity and parallel degree of the top of platform and the dummy bar head.
The lifting movement of dummy platform is operated by driving wire rope by windlass. The casting machine lifting is achieved by 4KW Jiang Ling motor from Guangdong, WD168 Pingxi worm wheel reducer and JZQ400 two-stage reducer. The diameter of wire reel isΦ260mm. The casting length depends on the signals of Kawasaki A38S6-G5-30F encoder.
3. Head frame is made of 25 # channel steel and steel plate, with four main pulleys of windlass installed inside. Tipping seat and arms are installed on the head frame. Water inlet Rotary joints head and water inlet joiner are installed beside the tipping arm. The size of rotary joint is 4 inches.
4. Windlass System
Windlass stroke is greater than 9 meters. German-made Siemens inverter for speed regulation, German "Schneider" AC contactors and other electrical components, Kawasaki DP3-FA1 tachometer and LCD of casting rod speed. Seesaw could be manual or automatic. Kawasaki CT7-PS61B Meter figures casting length. Kawasaki A38S6-G5-30F encoder transmits the length signal, with digital display of seesaw speed of dummy platform and casting length, as well as the functions of alarming before finishing casting, and safety auto-halt before empty car up to the place. It realizes the quick seesaw and speed switching between upper and lower positions on non-casting, while two-stage speed changes on casting.
5. Tipping Rack
Tipping movement of casting platform is designed at 80-90 °C, to coordinate with casting machine lifting, and that electrical control ensures the casting machine lifting and tipping single-action only. The tipping mechanism is operated by hydraulic system. Hydraulic cylinder, all seals, hydraulic valves and pumps are domestic. 68 # anti-wear hydraulic oil should be used but provided by the demand side.
6. Control System
Electric control system is consisted of main control unit, low-voltage electrical equipment, various sensors and safety rectifier, equipped with a triangle starter control of 32KW water pump. Alarming before ending, cutting off automatically before lifting to the top place, anti-roll frame with cast bar. AC contactors of Delixi brand.
7.Cooling system
Cooling system is all consist of the standard cooling tower and other necessary equipments
