high-low rail type
Type: high-low rail type; driving device mounted at the high rail side; loading capacity: about 30 t, moving distance: about 10m, moving speed: 11m/min; motor power: 2*3kW; transverse moving distance:± 60 mm.

Function and structure:
The tundish is mounted above the casting platform, moving on the high-low rail between the casting position and the baking station. The tudish car is mainly used for carrying the tundish and transporting it to the casting position.
To make sure that the tundish nozzle aims correctly at the crystallizer, the tundish car has inching minor regulation and manual transverse regulation function. The tundish car is also equipped with protection device, power towline, and swaying trough.
Main Components:
Each continuous casting machine has 2 tundish cars. Each tundish car consists of the following: a car body of 2 door-type frames, tundish transverse centration system, 2 wheels, driving motor and reducing gear, power towline, and guard plates for cables and pipes. ( The guard plates protect cables and pipes from the splashing molten steel.)
