Vertical furnace for rapid melting of aluminum (furnace cupola) is a new and high energy efficient aluminum melting furnace developed according to the melting characteristics of continuous casting and continuous rolling of the aluminum. It can satisfy the technical requirements of continuous casting, continuous rolling, gravity founding and concentrate melting. It can reduce the energy loss, melting loss, and can also improve the products quality, reduce the labor strength, improve working conditions and increase the producing efficiency.
Instead of being used alone, the energy-saving vertical furnace for rapid melting of aluminum is usually applied with other equipments such as double bore maintaining furnace (used for furnace refining)or single bore maintaining furnace (used for on-line refining)to obtain the goal of continuous melting, refining, and liquid aluminum providing. The alloy composition is usually unchangeable because of the requirements of continuous melting. It can better satisfy the technical requirements for the continuous casting and rolling of aluminum if it is accompanied by permanent magnetic agitator in a cylindrical maintaining furnace or a small chamber in which alloys are hold.
